Pritz-systems Side-Lock Doublerifle
Pritz Nr. 1 Pritz ZR – Takedown Hammergun
1. When I worked for the firm “Josef Winkler” in Ferlach , where I almost only made Side-Locks after H.&H. , I discovered a foibles in this construction. Due to a conversation with the engraver Herbert Krangler , I developed a lock , where the for the gravure objectionable screws and bores are not visible in the lock plate any longer. 1983 I made the first Side-Lock without tacks and bores in the lock plate. Due the new construction, new technical advantages were coming into existence. For example: Because of the fact that there are no bores in the lock plate any longer, water can’t infiltrate either. The parts are internally attached to the sockets and are surpressed by the “Studelplatte”. In connection with the normal construction, the “Studelplatte” only holds the parts together. If a screw becomes loose (normal construction) , the mechanics can eventually tip over , which can result in abnegators( non-sparking of the cartridge) through frictional resistance. In connection with the new construction these factors are to be excluded. The main-spring is not pinned any more, but is counterforted freely in a ladle. – i.e. one predetermined breaking point less. Due to the new construction the lightnig rod receives more safety-catch. As a result of the new constructive improvement , I succeeded in shortening the lock for 6 mm. Summing up, there are a few striking advantages, which result in the perfect optical and technical workmanship. The gun can be delivered with or without an ejector. The gun is always equipped with a closure-construction , whose key and shaft are made of one piece. That also results in some optical advantages because there are no key-srews any longer. Therefore wearout of the closure is slowed. Even the bottom side can be manufactured without screws or visible berrel-lamp. The general view of the gun is compact and elegant. The designation of the model for this type of gun is Synergy.
2. The gun is manufactured in all calibers ( just if desired and on request)
